Everything! A few days before our booking I emailed as to the best way to get to the hotel. Received a reply very quickly. And also got a free travel pass to use on the local buses and water shuttle boats and trams. Used to get from airport to hotel really easily. You take the No 5 bus from outside airport terminal, go out to the left, walk straight up then turn right, then left again, the stop is outside a pizza restaurant, direction to Thonex Vallard. Get off at Nations stop, then walk across the road, you'll see the 3 legged chair then the bus stop for No 11 or 22 is to the right, get off at Jardine Botanique. Going back to the airport is in reverse, and the no 11 or 22, you take from the same stop you got off, outside the pharmacy, as the bus turns around there. You'll see a hotel Eden on the corner the hotel Mon Repos is next door. Hannah on reception very helpful, as are all the staff. Hotel tastefully decorated and has a relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are clean, with safety deposit box, tea coffee making facilities, tv, adjustable temperature, fridge. Rooms tidied and cleaned every day. En-suite with shampoo-shower gel, hand wash, good hairdryer. Breakfast amazing lots of choices including a few hot dishes eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns. Fruit, juices, pancakes, pastries, yogurts, bread and lots more. Fabio behind the bar is friendly and helpful. It is about a 20-25 min walk to the centre or a bus ride on the no 25 or 1 to the hotel with your pass, you just get on the bus we were never asked to show it. You also get to the train station or bus station within 10 mins, buses are frequent. We also did a trip on the bus with key tours to Chamonix. We took the train to Annecy in France, remember euros if going into France. And train to Montreux. All worth a visit, would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was good, variety and taste. The staff was excellent and very helpful, spoke both English and French. Travel adapters were loaned from the front desk…Switzerland needs special adapters, not compatible with our French adapters. Just around the corner was a great coffee house, The Little Cup, with pastries and cappuccinos. Across the street, Park Mon Repos was an easy walk along Lake Geneva. We enjoy walking on vacation, sometimes up to 7-8 miles per day. From the hotel, we were able to walk over the Rhone and into the old city to see the Reformation wall and the Contemporary Art Museum. Dinner at Le Perron in the old city was fantastic, we had the Swiss beef fondue, Fondue Bacchus, so delicious. If you like ceramic and glass work, Musée Ariana is a wonderful museum in easy walking distance, just past the United Nations complex. The main train station, gare Genève Cornavin, is a short taxi ride.

breakfast was adequate and they always coming back to refill and always doing with a smile. ample parking space at a small cost but just besides the hotel itself. we could walk , location also was good. room well cleaned and decorated for our anniversary with fruit bowl. amenities , bed all super comfy and well placed. the asian staff who helped me carry the suitcases from the lift, to my room without asking, thank you. staff were extremely polite except for the man in the reception who seems angry most of the time.

We stayed in a clean, nicely decorated room with a balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Public transportation is very easy with buses in front of the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in registering for the free transportation card (hotel informed us what we needed to do for online registration before our stay). It is very enjoyable to leave the hotel and take a walk in the park and by the lake. Also, the tea at the entrance was very delicious.

The 5th floor room was comfortably decorated and furnished, full of light, with a balcony which was pleasant to use. Everything was spotlessly clean and well finished. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff, especially the reception staff, were fantastic. The breakfast was excellent. Five minutes walk to the Botanical Garden. Free bus journeys into town and to travel hubs. We would go back and spend days there very happily.
